We are two teenage sisters (13 & 17) who started The Science Behind The Headline on Instagram to explain the science behind current affairs in a simple, understandable way.
With the pandemic and the climate change challenges it foreshadows, we think it's increasingly important to communicate science and make it relatable so that we can fight global challenges like COVID-19 together. Our goal: to make science more accessible and easy to understand.
We learn a lot researching and writing articles every week and have loads of fun presenting it using our sketches. We hope you have as much fun reading it!
